1. Course objectives

This course aim to provide the students with some knowledge on geography concepts as they relate to Tour Guiding and Administration, Identify major world destinations and touristic attractions, identify advice customer and plan a journey and identity key steps in tourism customer care

2. Course duration

  1. 4 months of classroom work divided into two terms of two months each
  2. 2 months of field attachment

  2. Tourism circuits
  3. History and social anthropology
  4. Geography in Travel planning
  5. Land transport bus and coach
  6. Hotel accommodation classification
  7. Tour package and costing
  8. Law and regulations
  9. Customer care
  10. Basic English course
  11. Basic computer course


4. Recommended candidates

  1. Form IV leavers with three credit passes one of which must be English
  2. Form VI leavers with at least one principal pass.

  1. A college certificate
  2. JP International Diploma
