1. Course objectives

To enable the candidates issue and re-issue tickets pre- paid tickets advances and issue miscellaneous charges and charge commissions.

2. Course duration

  1. 6 months of classroom work
  2. 2 months of field attachment

  1. World Geography – IATA areas
  2. Flight Schedule – interpreting airline timetables
  3. Galileo computer reservation system
  4. Travel formalities
  5. Sales and customer relations
  6. Constructing air itineraries
  7. Calculating Air fares
  8. Issuing travel documents
  9. Advise clients on international airfares and issue tickets
  10. Who is a travel agent

 

4. Recommended candidates

  1. Form IV leaves with at least two credit passes one of which should be English

5. Awards

  1. College certificate
  2. JP International Diploma
  3. On passing the necessary Examinations - TCAA License in Flight Dispatch
  4. On registering and passing the necessary Examinations – IATA Diploma in Flight Operations
